Exciting & delicious news!
Hynt Beauty has partnered up with the gorgeous and positively inspiring Abby Phon, who is a certified holistic health & wellness coach and international best selling author, to launch a new monthly series of original recipes created just for Hynt fans!
We’ve decided to flip around the “Don’t put anything on your skin that you wouldn’t eat” concept by having Abby whip up a healthy, beauty-boosting menu item that would center on one of our many organic ingredients we pack in our line.
To launch the Hynt recipe series, she has decided to focus on one of her favorite superfoods.... ACAI!
Acai berries are an amazing, healthy treat from the rain forests of Brazil and their main claim to fame is having more antioxidants than blueberries, raspberries, cranberries or other foods known for their antioxidant-powers. Antioxidants are molecules found mostly in brightly colored fruits and veggies that can help protect your cells from damaging free radicals. This damage can contribute to various chronic diseases including cancer and is the guilty culprit of premature aging of the skin and body.
Beyond the antioxidant super power, Acai berries also have healthy fats and fiber, which help improve digestion, prevent heart disease and can help you loose weight, too. And last but not least, Acai berries make for a delicious addition to smoothies and smoothie bowls! Or... if you have any kids (or you are one yourself at heart) — Acai Ice Pops!
This smoothie bowl recipe is super flexible. You can top it with mint leaves, granola, fresh or frozen berries, or anything crunchy! It's also super easy and fast to make. Just blend, top and enjoy!
For a healthy but deceivingly yummy treat for the kids, pour the smoothie into an ice pop mold or if you don’t have one, try ice cube trays. It makes for an easy, addictive pool-break snack.
