Hello wonderful readers! How are you all on this Saturday (or whichever day of the week you may be reading)? George and I are officially 3 weeks out from our wedding day and I must say that we are a lot calmer than I thought we would be!
Over the past few weeks I have been testing different makeup products to wear for my wedding day. I am doing my own makeup so I want to make sure I’m not using anything brand new on the day of. I decided it was time to give Hynt Beauty’s Perfecting Concealer a try! I want a heavy duty concealer that will last all day, I will be outside and it may very well be quite warm so this stuff needs to perform!
I ordered the Light/Medium sample kit for $6. I was shocked at how much product I received! You need the smallest amount of this to cover up acne scars, pigmentation or just uneven skin tone. I like to pinpoint conceal with this type of concealer. Just slapping it on your face will leave you with way too much extra product sitting on the skin. USE SPARINGLY!
If you are familiar with Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage it has similar coverage but feels slightly more emollient (better for those with dry skin). My only complaint is that I can’t use this under my eyes. It just doesn’t end up looking nice. Minor complaint. The Medium shade is definitely a closer match for me to pin point conceal but the shade Light is great at highlighting while covering any scars or pigmentation on your cheek bones.Overall: Give it a try! What do you have to lose? The sample kit includes two colors Fair/Light, Light/Medium, Medium/Tan, Tan/Dark or Dark/Deep. You get plenty of product to really test this out all for $6 including free shipping. A great choice for those that want to cover up pigmentation or scarring.
