This post is not sponsored. However, I would like to thank Sun Warrior and BFree for their generous samples. As always, this post reflects my own true thoughts.I have more food favorites to share this month than usual, so I guess that tells you where my head’s been at lately. I also have one household favorite, but because it is so good, I am going to dedicate an entire post to it next week. I cannot wait!Hynt Beauty DUET Perfecting ConcealerNow that I have a little color on my face from being outdoors so much, I haven’t been wearing much makeup this summer. A little blush, mascara, brow powder, concealer, and I am done. This creamy concealer by Hynt is the closest natural dupe I’ve found to the MAC concealers that I used to love so much. A lot of natural beauty products aren’t that long-wearing, but this concealer stays put all day and doesn’t budge. A little bit goes a long way. The container that I have barely has a dent in it, and I’ve been using it daily since December!Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in Started with Good IntentionsI don’t paint my nail all that much these days because even the cleaner nail polishes still aren’t the healthiest. But…sometimes a woman needs a little polish to make her feel pull together. My go-to is a vegan, cruelty-free polish by Trust Fund Beauty. The neutral color goes with everything, and the formula dries quickly and doesn’t chip within 5 minutes of application.Jojoba OilI’m really into oil cleansing in the evening as part of my double-washing process, and jojoba oil is by far my preferred oil for washing. It helps to remove impurities from my skin, works as an eye makeup remover, and keeps my face very moisturized. It always feels like such a luxurious part of my nighttime regime.Sunwarrior illumin8I’m a big fan of Sunwarrior’s plant-based protein, and I have been loving their illumin8 powder- especially the mocha flavor! I’ve been adding it to my morning smoothie, and it makes my breakfast taste more like dessert. With illumin8, you get protein, carbs, healthy fats, minerals, vitamins, fiber, enzymes and probiotics which makes t such a healthy way to start off the day.Trader Joe’s Mango & Strawberry FlatbreadI bought these last month to serve when we had dinner guests, and everyone was blown away by how good they tasted. They are only out for a limited time, so I immediately rushed back to Trader Joe’s to stock up. The flatbread has mango, strawberries, arugula, and balsamic reduction on them, and you can find them in the freezer section by the pizza. They are great appetizers but also a good dinner when paired with a salad. At around $3 a box, you need to rush out and stock up on them while you can!BFree Multigrain WrapsI don’t have Celiac, but I try to keep my gluten intake to a minimum because I find that I have less rheumatoid arthritis pain when I do. As a wrap lover, I was very excited when BFree asked if I wanted to sample some of their delicious gluten free breads (which are now being carried by Publix). These low fat, high fiber, low sugar, dairy-free, vegan wraps have been a lunchtime staple for me lately, and I fill them with roasted zucchini, balsamic, and lettuce. It is so nice to be able to enjoy a good tasting wrap without having to worry about how my body will react. The Harry Potter MoviesI randomly told MT a few weeks ago that I wanted to watch the Harry Potter movies again, and ever since that day, we have been binge watching them like crazy. We actually only have two more to go! It has been so much fun to reconnect with the story and to watch the actors basically grow up throughout the course of the films. MT and I both prefer the first movie the most because it was the most lighthearted. The series definitely gets darker as it progresses. And for the record, yes, I’ve read all the books, and of course, the books are always best. Next up? The Wizarding World of Harry Potter…in about 18 years when the kids are old enough to appreciate it!I’d love to know what your favorites were from the month, so please share!
